Parking

Your spot is the left side of the driveway. There is a basement tenant who uses the garage as her only entrance to the house. Please allow her the right side of the garage so she can enter and exit.

4:00pm MST, unless otherwise agreed upon. Early Check-Ins are available on a case by case basis with varied fees.

Gaining Access

Your code will be sent 24 hours prior to check-in via message.

  • Unlocking Upon Arrival: Enter the code into the smart deadbolt (a black touch screen keypad) and press the unlock symbol. You may need to wake it up first. Tutorial Video (note: the code in the video is not your code).
  • Locking Upon Departure: Make sure the door is fully closed, then tap the padlock button. Check that the lock is fully engaged by trying to open the door.

Check-Out Instructions

We only ask a few things of our guests, as we know you're busy packing up:

  • Please leave the linens on the beds.
  • For used towels, please put them in a pile on the floor of the bathroom.
  • If you moved furniture, PLEASE move it back!
  • If something didn't work during your stay, please let us know.
  • Clean any used dishes in the sink.

Food: Puro Peru, O-Ku Sushi, Cafe Barril (fantastic brunch), Handles Ice Cream.

Family Fun: Uptown Jungle, many parks nearby, Aquarium in Draper, Downtown SLC (20 min away), ski hills open in summer for activities and concerts, Real Salt Lake/Utah Royals soccer (5 min from the stadium), Temple Quarry Trail.

Ski Tips: Use the park-and-ride lot at the base of the canyon and take the bus up. On holidays, time your arrivals and departures to avoid traffic up/down the mountain.

House Rules

  1. Smoking/Vaping: No smoking or vaping is allowed on the premises. A $200 per day fee will be assessed for each day of the reservation.
  2. Pet Policy: Pet-friendly properties are marked on the listing. Pets are $10 per pet, per day. ESAs fall under this requirement. Service Animals are permitted at all properties at no extra cost. Unauthorized pets incur a $250 fee. Guests must clean up after their animal ($10 per exterior location if not cleaned up).
  3. Communication: Guest services is available 24/7 on the booking platform. When reaching out, please have ready: the name on the reservation, the property name or address, and the city.
  4. Early Check-In/Late Check-Out: Subject to cleaning team availability. Standard fee is $15 per hour. 24 hours advance notice required. Unauthorized late check-outs incur a $50 fee per hour.
  5. Cancellation: By booking, guests agree to the cancellation policy on the listing. If the original dates are rebooked after a cancellation, a refund will be issued to the original guest.
  6. Occupancy Limits: The maximum number of guests is indicated on the listing. Additional fees may be assessed for guests above the number on the reservation.
  7. Consumables: Paper goods, soaps, sponges, and detergents found at the property upon arrival are all that are included. Additional items are the guest's responsibility.
  8. Lost and Found: Items left behind will be held for 14 days. Items can be shipped for a $20 fee plus materials and shipping. After 14 days, items are considered abandoned.
  9. Acceptance of State of Property: Survey the property upon arrival and report pre-existing damages within 2 hours of check-in. After that, the guest accepts the condition of the property.
  10. Pests: Professional pest control is required at all properties. If a medical professional confirms a pest-related condition, the host will contact a third-party pest control company to verify and take appropriate action.
  11. Locked Out: For key doors, guest services can instruct on lockbox access. For other doors, guests must call a locksmith at their own cost. If the host's team is dispatched, a $60 fee applies.
  12. Moving Furniture: Not allowed. A $500 fee will be assessed if cleaners have to move furniture.
  13. Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM to sunrise. Keep all audio and noise at a minimum out of respect for surrounding residents.
  14. Missing/Broken Items: Report to the host. Leave broken items on the kitchen counter. Additional charges may apply.
  15. Garbage: All garbage must be bagged and stowed in the bins on the property.
  16. Doors and Windows: Lock and close all windows and doors upon leaving.
  17. Cameras: Outdoor security cameras may be in use and are disclosed on the listing. No cameras are located in or pointing to indoor spaces.
  18. Property Maintenance: Light maintenance may occur during your stay. We will notify you in advance of any indoor work.

Garbage & Recycling

Garbage

Garbage and recycling bins are on the side of the house. Blue bins are trash, green bins are recycling, and the small grey bin is for glass. There is a trash valet service that takes the cans to and from the curb. Pick-Up Day: Wednesday.
